Step-by-Step Granite Crushing Process FlowTo achieve the ideal 0-5mm, 5-9mm, and 9-12mm particle shapes with the lowest powder productivity, our engineering team designed a closed-circuit three-stage crushing and screening process:Stage 1: Primary Coarse Crushing (Feeding & Jaw Crusher)Huge granite blocks up to 800mm are evenly fed by the ZSW Series Vibrating Feeder into the PE Series Jaw Crusher. The vibrating feeder effectively removes mud and small debris beforehand to prevent clogging. The PE Jaw Crusher, engineered with high-manganese steel jaw plates, performs the heavy-duty coarse crushing, reducing the material size down to a manageable range.Stage 2: Secondary Fine Crushing (Hydraulic Cone Crusher)The coarsely crushed granite aggregate is transported via a heavy-duty belt conveyor to the PY Series Cone Crusher. Since granite is highly abrasive, the cone crusher is the absolute best choice for secondary crushing due to its laminating crushing principle, which significantly reduces wear and tear on spare parts compared to impact crushers.Stage 3: Tertiary Shaping, Sand Making & ScreeningThe output from the cone crusher goes directly to the YK Series Circular Vibrating Screen.

  • Materials meeting the target sizes (0-5mm, 5-9mm, 9-12mm) are separated and sent to final product stockpiles via belt conveyors.

  • Oversized aggregates are routed into the VSI Series Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher for precision cubic shaping and sand making, or returned to the cone crusher for re-crushing. This closed-loop design ensures zero material waste.
